Taking the Long Route

For some reason, Devon found the Christmas-tree-like toy frightening even though he had seen it before and even played with it at the doctor’s office. So in this photo he’s skirting around it to get to the paper hat. When he was almost past the tree though, his left elbow barely glanced off of it. When he turned around to see what it was and saw that it was the tree, he sprint-crawled two steps to where his Mom was sitting and started crying until she consoled him. Funniest thing I’ve ever seen in his short life so far.
