Around his six month birthday, we decided to introduce Devon to his first non-milk food, rice cereal. Surprisingly to us, he took it pretty well and didn’t seem to mind much. It was much easier than expected because at this age he naturally opens his mouth for anything that comes near it. We tried oatmeal cereal about a week later but he didn’t like that at all so it’ll be rice cereal with assorted fruits and veggies for now.
